Rimadyl

Rimadyl (carprofen) is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) in oral dosage form. Rimadyl Chewable Tablets and Caplets are used to treat pain and inflammation due to osteoarthritis in dogs. The recommended dosage for Rimadyl is is 2 mg/lb (4.4 mg/kg) of body weight daily.

RIMADYL, like other drugs of its class, is not free from adverse reactions. Owners should be advised of the potential for adverse reactions and be informed of the clinical signs associated with drug intolerance.
Do Not use Rimadyl in dogs less than 6 weeks of age, pregnant dogs, dogs used for breeding purposes, or in lactating dogs.
